Eve of Egypt
Hey yall it's the day before I leave for the desert!! I take off for Egypt at 4:30 tomrrow afternoon and I am so anxious. I just want to be there already, feeling out the country and all set in my element. To catch up on all the stuf going on around here I will first start off with the most exciting news of all, I got a job with the Boston Bruins, and this is one of the biggest gigs I could have wished for. It is my way into the world of sports photography and though I have no idea what exactly I will be doing, I am just so thrilled to be working with them. I start up right after I return from Egypt and will work through the summer and hopefully extend my work into the fall. Also I have managed to make it through sophmore year of college and I have no idea where the time went. I feel like I just got here and I don't want it to be going by so quickly, and yet at the same time when I see what opportunities there are out there it makes me so excited to be nearing a career. Well that's all for now, I should probably get back to my packing and goodbyes check out the pictures, they are from the test shoot for the Bruins. I got to go along with some of the players to a youth hockey clinic that the team was hosting. I went out on the ice with my camera and focused on getting the best shots possible in horrible lighting, but I think they came out pretty well. I wanted to show off my skills at controlling the camera as well as my ability to capture what my subjects were feeling. They were kids so it was easy!
Enjoy!!
